This is 44th Samvat in the 60 Year count and named "Sadharan" from Guruman. Varah Mihira described it as Navam Yuga`s Rudra (Shiva) Vinsahti`s fourth Samvatsar.


Samvat 2074 is fourth Samvatsar of Ninth Yuga of Rudra Vinshati named “Sadharan”

Due to untimely rains farmers will be in trouble in some regions and in some places will be havoc with floods, destruction and loss through natural calamities.  Although merchandise stabilizes but market trends against the guess will cause troubles to traders. Political conflicts and conflicts at borders will be on the rise.

In the Samvat year named Sadharan rain fall is half stoic persons will be afraid of some thing or other, there is a panic kind of atmosphere. Even the riches get nominal income, but the public is happy.

According to the scriptures during Sadharan Samvtsar there will be average progress in the field of education, health, finance, manufacture, religion, society etc.

Day lord of Chatra Shukal Pratipada becomes the king for the Samvat. In Samvat 2074, Chaitra Shukla Pratipada falls on 28th Mar. 2017 08:28 AM on Tuesday) Hence Mangla lord of Tuesday will be the King.

This year Mars (Kuja) is King, Jupiter (Brihaspati) is the Minister while Mercury (Budha) is the commander-in-chief of army among the new elected planetary cabinet. 

According to Brihat-Samhita If Mars is the ruler, then the kings will be indifferent to the welfare of the people and will not take any protective measures. Crime will increase and people will be subjected to attacks by robbers. They will have fear from destructive fires which will be blown by winds and bum whole villages and towns. There will be forest fires also and destruction of cattle &property. People will suffer from bilious complains and deaths will occur through snake bites. Food crops will suffer destruction.

Mars is the karaka of the military; law enforcement, crime and violence; political party fanatics; intelligence agencies; patriotism; infectious diseases; damaging storms; accidents; fires; drastic changes in laws; and manufacturing industries.

In Samvat 2047 chart Mars is strongly posited in own sign creating a powerful Ruchaka Yoga. Mars in Aries may also be good for the economy as it also becomes second lord from the lunation. It can give powerful gains in manufacturing, and signify growing strength in law enforcement and the armed forces. 

Mars falls in the Nakshatra Bharni, ruled by the death god Yama which reflects the fanatical nature of these known enemies as well as the dangerous power needed to fight them.

When Mangla is king Conflicts and border issues between many countries will increase. The head of the different countries oppose one another. India will have more border conflicts with neighbors. Opposition parties will try to exploit every possible situation, that is against government. Decisions taken by government will appear to be tough on country, but can yield better results in long term.

Cross border terrorism will be on the rise. Terrorists can come in disguise of military uniform.

Prices of necessary commodities may go out of control of government.

Possibility of a major earth quake in Himalayan range. Severe earthquake may hit Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kashmir, Nepal, or Pakistan. Whereas

Jammu and Kashmir can experience unusual high temperatures.

Cybercrime, robberies, kidnaps, murders, rapes will increase in many countries.

The public in general suffer from different kinds of distress and anguish. There may be the scarcity of rainfall and as a result of it the food grains get costly. Terrorism, theft, robbery, violence and fire accidents cause different problems.

Lunation (horoscope created at the time of new Moon) has Mesha (Aries) Lagna with Jupiter (Retrograde) in Virgo, Saturn in Sagittarius, Rahu in Leo, Mars with Mercury in Aries, Venus (Retrograde) with Sun and Moon in Pisces, and Ketu in Aquarius. Samvatsar starts in Mesha lagna can be cause of secret wars and famine in the eastern parts. Southern areas will have rich crops and plenty of food grains. People will earn good profits by selling food grains, clouds will bring plenty of rain, ghee, oil etc. get costlier. Northern states also plenty of food grains. Kings will be excited, Central regions gets excessive rains and food grains.

USA president Donald Trump’s decisions will prove to be fatal to his country. Racism and public shootouts will increase in multiple cities of USA.

Frequent flight crashes (air accidents), along with sinking ships, frequent fires, rail and road accidents will increase. Racism will increase

Summer will be extended and soaring temperatures will kill many. Extended summer will see record breaking temperatures in Asian and African countries and delayed rainfall can disappoint farmers. Rainfalls will be useless for agriculture. Natural Calamities will hit east coast of USA, South America, Mexico, Asia-Pacific Islands.

During the time period between 28 March to 30 June 2017 most of the planets will be in 6th and 8th houses to each other or in opposition. This will create confusion in administration, repenting for wrong decisions taken in past, lack of co-ordination between politicians, ruling parties blamed by oppositions.

Ruling party BJP loses popularity to some extent. Indian space research will see new success.

Economic depression can happen worldwide.

From January 2018 to 31 March 2018 Jupiter almost completing the full span of Libra Rashi in short span and then going retrograde will lead to troublesome situations for politicians. Viral diseases will spread. New type of virus can be discovered.

Prices of Oil, gold and silver can increase.

Indian budget for 2018-19 will not be appreciated by many, though many new schemes and ideas being implemented.
